GYM IN A BOX® began in 2015, when Nika and Nino Cristiani launched America’s first EMS boutique gym franchise in Marina del Rey, California. Their mission was simple: make advanced muscle-activation technology more effective, more personal, and easier to fit into real life.

When COVID-19 lockdowns forced gyms to close in 2020, they transformed their professional EMS expertise into a portable solution and launched the first GYM IN A BOX® product—bringing smart muscle activation into people’s homes when traditional fitness was suddenly out of reach.

That pivot became a new category of wearable fitness, beauty, and recovery technology designed around one powerful idea: your body should not have to wait for a gym, spa, appointment, or perfect schedule.

Nika is the creative force behind GYM IN A BOX® and its growing portfolio of wearable fitness, beauty, and recovery systems. A certified StimFit coach and wellness entrepreneur, she combines decades of hands-on coaching experience with a sharp understanding of what modern women and men actually need: intelligent technology, visible design, and routines that work in the real world.

Her vision transformed professional muscle-activation concepts into luxurious, portable products people can use at home, while traveling, or between the demands of everyday life.

Nino Cristiani — Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer

Nino brings more than 30 years of expertise in performance training, sports rehabilitation, electrostimulation, and advanced muscle-activation technology. As a celebrity trainer, product developer, and performance specialist, he has worked with athletes, executives, entertainers, and high-performance professionals worldwide.

Together, Nika and Nino developed the training philosophy and technology platform behind ToneUp15® StimFit Technology—combining professional experience with wearable design built for modern life.
